Mrs. Greaves was born in Manti, Utah on Dec. 31, 1907 to Robert Askew and Ann Davenport Boyington. She married Roger Frost Greaves August 19, 1931; their marriage was later eternalized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Greaves preceded her in choir members A region choir rehearsal for choir members from Gunnison, Manti and Ephraim will be held Sun. , Apr. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Manti High School auditorium. This is in preparation for the area conference to be held May 10. A final rehearsal will be held on Sunday, May 3rd at 6 p.m. in the Snow College Activity Center, at which time seating will be assigned. death on Feb. 27, 1968. Mrs. Greaves was an active member of the LDS Church serving in several capacities. She worked in the Manti Parachute Company and was head supervisor in the cafeteria in the Manti Temple for many years. Her special love was for her family, her home and her yard. She is survived by one son, Robert Greaves, Washington, Utah.; two brothers and two sisters: Lloyd and Layfe Boyington and Leah Van Buren all of Manti and Eunice Aldrich, Mt. Pleasant; also, six grandchildren; five and 16 nephews and nieces. Friday Forum Funeral services were held April at the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, for Blaine Elmer Bench, 71, of Kearns who passed away April 17, 1987 at a local hospital of natural causes. Born February 7, 1916, Manti, Utah to Frank and Alice Hoggan Bench. Married Ruth Foilette, December 11, 1944, Salt Lake City. Member LDS Church. Member CCCs and American Legion; army veteran World War II. Member Operating Engineers Local 3. Avid fisherman and camper. Survived by: wife, Ruth, of Kearns; son, Dennis B. and his wife, Joan H. Bench, West Valley City; grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Lori, Anthony, Shawn and Julie; brothers and sisters: Reed M., Orem; Berniece Angelo, West Valley City; Mrs. Bruce (Shirley) Allred, Mt. Pleasant; Ethel Ahlstrom, Manti. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Ruth McKelvey, Arthur, Alice Nielson Fredricksen, Eldon and George. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates. George Allen Funk Funeral services for George Allen Funk, 73, who died on April 15, 1987, at his home in Salt Lake City, were held on April 21, 1987 in the Rosecrest Second Ward. Interment was in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Mr. Funk was born on July 1, 1913 in Manti, Utah to Alfred Farrel and Leah Evailinda Mickelson Funk. Married Virginia Nelson December 31, 1940; later eternalized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Attended Snow College and Utah State. Served his country in World War II. Following the war, moved to Salt Lake where he worked for GMAC as creditsales supervisor for over 20 years. Active member of the LDS Church, where he served faithfully in a variety of positions, and was always sensitive to C. Max Caldwell, Regional Representative for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints, will be the speaker at Friday Forum on April 24, 1987, at 12 noon at the Ephraim LDS Institute of Religion.
