Show , Msangr-lntrprlau- Paga 6 Thursday, July 9, 1987 Women for work hold banquet Women For Work hosted their annual awards banquet on June 29 at the Snow College cafeteria. The banquet is held to honor persons who have participated in the Women for Work program and have made notable achievements throughout the past year. Those receiving plaques at the banquet were Barbara Wood, Mt. Pleasant; Grace Dingemanse, Fair-vieNorita Lancaster, Mt. Pleasant; Louise Mossey, Delta; and F.dna Morton, Fillmore. Also awarded a plaque, though not present, was Lstcr Green of Salina. Director Sherrie Stanton presented the awards to those served by the Ephraim Women For Work site. Kathy Walker of Delta and Betty Robbins, Ephraim presented the awards to the recipients in Millard and Sevier Counties. i the women receiving the awards have made great personal strides in the past year and most have had to face overwhelming obstacles and hardships. The awards are given for determination, achievement, participation, and commitment to All Also honored at the banquet was Max Aycock, Vocational Director at Snow College, for the leadership, guidance and support that he has given to the WFW program. He was presented with a plaque. Certificates of appreciation were given to the many agencies the project works with in their programs. Included were Snow College, West Central Utah Vocational School, Sevier Valley Technical School, Job Service, Social Services, Vocational Rehabilitation, Headstart, Mental Health, and Drug & Alcohol.
