Peterson, Ephraim, age 89, died April 27, 1989 in a Provo hospital of causes incident to age. Born in Ephraim, Utah, J une 5, 1899 to Soren Peter and Lil- Olson Its a trio of girls at the home lian Peterson. Married Maxine Justesen, June 10, 1925 in Manti LDS Temple. She died in 1965. Rulon was an educator, his career as a teacher spanned 41 years including 21 years of teaching at Snow College. He retired in 1964. He also maintained a family sheep business. He served in the LDS Church in many capacities including seven years in a ward bishopric. After the death of his wife, his retirement time was spent performing many years of LDS Temple work. He also traveled extensively all over the world and was generous with his contributions to humanity. Manti Temple rites will join Mary Ann Christensen, David Anderson Miss Mary Ann Christensen will became the bride of David Thomas Anderson on Thursday, May 18, 1989 in the Manti LDS Temple. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon V. Christensen of Ogden, Utah. Mr. Anderson is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Anderson of Gunnison, Utah, and a grandson of L. Glen Anderson of Manti. Following the marriage ceremony, a wedding breakfast will be held at the Manti House Inn, hosted by the parents of the groom. The couple will be honored that same evening in the Burch Creek State Center in Ogden, Utah. There will also be a reception held in the Gunnison Stake Center on Saturday, May 20, 1989 from 9 p.m. outdoors. Survived by sister, Ruth P. Christiansen, Mayfield; brother, Clifford N. Peterson, Ephraim and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held May 1,1989 at the Ephraim 1st-5t- h LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Ephraim Park Cemetery. He is survived by one twin brother, three sisters, Elwood J., Ephraim; Evelyn Labrum, Boise, Idaho; and Delora Daniels and Joan Olsen, both of Ephraim. Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 3, 1989 in the Ephraim Park Cemetery, with full military honors. Charles August Wall 7-- David and Mary Ann will make of Gary S. Olson and Ann B. Olson of Ephraim. The newest little Miss arrived at the Sanpete Valley Hospital on April 25, 1989, weighing in at 6 lbs. She will be named Ashley Ruth Olson. Excited over her arrival were Everett M. Paulsen Everett Maurice Paulsen, 76, Ephraim, died April 30, 1989 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born November 27, 1912 in Ephraim to J ohn E. and Amelia Nielson Paulsen. He was a veteran of World War II. Miss Ephraim i Ray and Virginia Thompson Open house will honor couple on their 50th anniversary The children of Ray and Virginia Thompson of Ephraim will host an open house to honor their parents on their 50th wedding anniversary. The open house will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sat, May 13, 1989 at the Ephraim Senior Citizens Center, 85 West 100 North. All relatives and friends are invited to visit and express their best wishes. Ray and Virginia were married May 15, 1939. They are the parents of the following children: Kenneth, Orangeville, Utah; Susan Griffith, West Jordan, Utah; Linda Christensen, Mt Pleasant; Tana Daley, West Valley City, Utah. ate of North Sanpete High School and attended Wasatch Academy. Graduated from Snow College in 1927 and from Brigham Young University in Education, 1929 and received his Masters Degree in Education from the University of Southern California, 1936. Charles taught in the School of Business at Snow College, Utah State and the University of Utah. He was the deputy state auditor for the State of Utah. Charles had a great love for teaching, therefore he returned to the Business Departments of Davis High and Bountiful High Schools from which he retired in 1971. Music played on important part in Charlies life. He played the saxophone and the clarinet in dance bands during his college years. Later he expanded to the guitar and ukulele, helping form and manage die Hawaiian Entertainers" group. They performed for hundreds of local church and civic organizations. Retirement years were filled with activity. Past president of the Salt Lake Organ Club. Charles was honored as Kiwa-ni- s Club Senior Citizen of the Year for 1987. He was an active member of the Wasatch Ward high priest group. Charlie will be greatly missed by his loving family and many dear friends. Each student wrote a report and made a display of each of the 50 states, and several countries.
