Sports Hall of Fame Retired Manti High School coach Wilbur Braithwaite was among 14 individuals who have been selected for induction into the National High School Sports Hall of Fame. Included in the list of honored athletes, in addition to Coach Braithwaite, are: Olympic decathlon champion Bob Mathias, former Green Bay two-tim- e Packers stars Bart Starr and Paul Hornung. Others selected in the Athlete category are Quinn Buckner, a high school basketball star in Illinois who excelled in the National Basketball Association; Ralph Miller, a three-spostandout at Canute (Kansas) High School who just comcollegiate baspleted a ketball coaching career; Bronko Nagurski, one of professional footballs original stars from International Falls, Minnesota; Don Sutton, who won more than 300 games as a professional baseball pitcher, and Lynette Woodard, a high school basketball star from Wichita, Kansas, who is the top female scorer in college basketball history. rt 38-ye- near the mouth of the canyon, Instead of being a raging torrent at this time of year, is flowing only a very small volume, Water reports indicate it won't get much higher. Bennion as president of Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, was announced this week by the college Board of Trustees. Dr. Bennion, 47, is presently serving as president of Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. He succeeds Dr. Joe J. Christensen, who on April 1 was sustained as a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints. y Dr. Bennions appointment was announced in Rexburg by Harold F. Western, associate commissioner of the Church Educational System and secretary of the Ricks College Board of Trustees. The resignation of Dr. Bennion as president of Snow College, effective July 1, was announced simultaneously by W. Eugene Hansen, chairman of the Utah State Board of Regents, at a regents meeting in St George, Utah.
