The Sanpete County Commission and about 16 concerned citizens discussed the proposed revision of the mobile home ordinance Tuesday afternoon, and finally arrived at a difficult consensus. The significant provisions of the revised ordinance is that the structures must meet HUD requirements and the Uniform Building Code. That, it was pointed out, provides for water, power, and sewage services. The recommendations that causes the most concern, apparently, had to do with items like dimensions: maybe instead of width and length, the number of square feet in the unit should be the consideration. The consensus was that the proposed ordinance should not yet be carved in stone." It needs further consideration. The next draft will probably be ready for review at the June 30 meeting. Commissioner Leonard Black-hawho is heading the revision effort, won praise for his efforts, but most of the people at the public hearing agreed that' more discussion was needed. .
