All relatives and friends are invited to attend, which is the only gift that they request. been supportive in whatever they were asked to do. They are both currently working at the Earl Jacob Tuttle and Ellis were married Amundsen December 22, 1941 in the Manti Temple. They are the parents of seven children: Terry (Dina) of Salt Lake; Ned (deceased); Erlynne Nielsen (Joe) of Ephraim; Roger (Elayne) Kaysville; Brant (Lorraine) Payson; Bob (Janiece) Richfield; and Paul (Laury) I manti History Center and Earl also works one day a week at the temple. The family moved to Ogden, then to Circleville, and then to a ranch by Cody, Wyoming for a year where he managed a large cattle and feed ranch, the Tuttles then moved to Manti where they lived 427-330- 4, 1, 26 After their marriage, Earl and Ellis lived in Logan while he attended USU. While some ofher boys were in high school she became the school librarian. Earl was then transferred to Cedar City, then to Orem and finally they moved back to Manti 13 years ago where he finished his SCS career working in Richfield and back to Manti, retiring after 30 years of service, Upon returning to Manti, Ellis became the secretary of the Manti Elementary School and worked there until she retired also. -- 1? Herman Oviatt will hostan 80th birthday celebration in his honor Jan. 4, 1992 at the Senior Citizens Center in Manti, from 1 to 4 p.m. All friends are invited. Herman was born Jan. 2, 1912 at Elmo, Emery County, Utah. He was the first baby born in that new settlement as far as we know. He graduated from Huntington High School. Hermanmarried Eva Watts from Byron, Wyoming on Feb. 26, 1938 at Provo, Utah. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the parents of six children - Vatia Jones, Mesa, AZ; Deola Kimble, G. Herman Oviatt Brookhaven, MS; Ted Oviatt, Denver, and Retha Llewelyn, Annette Niebuhr and Roger Oviatt, all of Salt Lake City. He has 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildre- n. Herm an worked as a farmer duringhis earlier years and then as a coal miner. He worked in Kennilworth and then in Columbia mines until his retirement. He also worked for Tom Wells in his house moving business and at Carbon Hospital a custodian maintenance. as Snow Colleges President Day and his staff wish all the friends, neighbors, alumni, employees, and students of Snow College a Very Merry Christmas, and a Happy Holiday Season! K and in They lived in Wellington five years and then moved to Carbonville (Price) where they bought the first plot of ground on the Will Robb farm when it was divided up for a housing project. They lived there about 45 years. Herman loves gardening and always has a beautiful garden. He is very active in the LDS Church and has held many positions in it including Bishop of Carbonville Ward. He has been an ordinance worker in the Manti Temple many years. They moved to Manti in Dec. 1991 where they bought a home and are living at the present time.
