EPHRAIM Fifth: Danielle Marie Thompson, daughter of Mary Ann and Kay Thompson was given a name and a blessing by her father, Kay Thompson. Ty Anderson, son of Tauna Anderson and Larry Anderson was baptized and confirmed by his father, Larry. NEWS ABOUT TOWN: Mary Anderson, formerally ofEphraim, wife ofHarry Anderson, deceased, died April 28 in a Sandy nursing home and was buried in Ephraim, Saturday, May 1. Many family members came for the funeral that was held in the Ephraim First Ward. Dorothy Rasmussen Adams and her niece, Dawn Boyle, of Monticello came and spent two days in Ephraim and Manti visiting with relatives and friends. A combined family dinner was held at the Vaughn Olsen home in honor oftheir daughter, Kamerila and Jacob, the son of Jay and Tawnie- Olsen. Leighanns parents, Milton and Dorene Bell of St George, Blake Bell and family of West Valley, Wendy Castro and family of Kearns, grandparents, Ward and Deon Olsen, and Darrel and Corinne Olsen, Helen and George Haney, Eileen and Chuck Jeffs, Kent and Kathleen Olsen and families all helped to make a very special day. Evelyn Eddy has had a most wonderful and unique experience this month. Last year at this time, Evelyn discovered that she had been adopted and found that she had three brothers and two sisters. Evelyn, the youngest of the family, was adopted as an infant in Canada. On March 29, - Evelyn met her sister, Jessie Palmer of Alberta, Canada at the Salt Lake City Airport and they flewto Oakland, California where they were met by a brother, Horace Koepke of El Sobranto, California. The group then drove to Madera, California where they weremetbyabrotherTed Koepke and his wife, Vera. The family then visited Carmel by the sea and went on to see San Francisco and the sights there. On April 22, Evelyn flew to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to visit another brother, Frank Koepke that Valerie Anderson, daughter ofVal and Michele Andersonhad emergency surgery on Tuesday, April 27th at the Gunnison Valley Hospital. HewasbomApril26, 1934 in Elsinore, Utah to John V. and Effie Durfee Francks. He married Mary Christensen, May 27, 1953 in the Manti LDS Temple. They were later divorced. He married Vikki Hermansen December 27, 1976. The marriage was solemnized June 17, 1990 in the Provo LDS O . Temple. He graduated from Snow High School and attended Snow College and Utah State University. He graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins with a degree in Veterinary Science. He practiced in Ephraim for many years and in Orem for the last 16 years. He was active in the LDS Church where he has held many positions. He was a kind and loving person around animals and loved the out of doors. Christian and Margaret Ann Bristol Renburg. She married Harry Young Anderson December 21, 1922 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died September 12, Jay Francks Valden Jay Francks She moved from Ephraim to Salt Lake City in 1965 to be near her children. She spent most of her life caring for other people, always gracious, happy and with a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by all who knew ' her. She was an active member of the LDS church. She was a beautiful seamstress and her handiwork was admired by all. Survived by: sons and daughters, Mrs. Garth R. (Lola) Mickelson, Richfield; Leland J. Anderson, Cedar City; Leo P.
