Manti Elementary students designed posters for the contest as they learned about the importance of trees in their lives. The following LPN students were recognized and awards given. In the area of pharmocology: Dina Boswell first, Lynnell Fulkerson second, and Kristie Graduates from Reneau second, and Amy Green third. The program is 24 months in length. Students receive over 450 hours of classroom instruction in pharmacology, anatomy, biochemistry, and physics, and anesthesia techniques, as well as over 1000 hours of clinical training in the administration of anesthesia. Joan Bessey is eligible to take a national certifying examination given by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. The public is invited to attend a public forum designed to identify and seek solutions to the probinlems and barriers dividuals and families face in the six counties of Juab, Sanpete, Sevier, Millard, Wayne and Piute. The public forum is scheduled for March 22, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the large courtroom of the Sevier County Courthouse, 250 North Main, Richfield, Utah.
