Parents with concerns about the growth and development of their children, birth to five years of age, are invited to attend free check-up- s scheduled throughout Utah. The first trustee workshop was held at Logan Library on Saturday, April 29. This years program will inform trustees about the current health & status of public libraries 1 5 &J .JL- , skills. self-hel- p Studies have shown that in many cases if a child receives Baby Watch services before they are five years old, it can help them be more successful in school, says Joyce Lacy, program director. Baby Watch is a network of outreach, services and support for children with developmental delay, ages birth to five, and their families. The program is administered through the Division of Family Health Services. Parents, agencies and professionals coordinate to ensure that services are d and comprehensive. Nicole Cox, working in conjunction with Manti City, American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and other a organizations, is in the process of establishing flag pole with a flag and name plaque in honor of your deceased veteran. The flag poles will be displayed at the Manti City Veteran s Day. Cemetery on Memorial Day and We are asking for donations of $75 per deceased veteran. The monies will be used to purchase the pole, flags, name to those families who have plaques, etc. This applies only veterans buried in the Manti City Cemetery.
