Show Page 8 Messenger-Enterpris- Weight Management Class will be taught by Sanpete Valley Hospital Are you anxious to make some permanent changes in your eating and exercise patterns? Many people are taking diet medications, but research indicates that weight is gained back after discontinuing the medications if life style changes have not been adopted in the process. The program offered by Sanpete Valley Hospital focuses on healthy eating, exercise and personal management skills. It provides an inexpensive alternative to many of the weight loss programs now available. Beginning Aug. 27 the classes will be held for nine weeks each Tuesday afternoon from 4:30 to Obituaries 5:30 p.m. in the basement confer- ence room. These classes are based on sound scientific principles or behavior modification, sensible eating habits, exercise and enhancing self esteem. The classes will be taught by Dianne Carr, a Registered and Certified Dietitian. for the class is suggested and can be accomplished by contacting the dietary 1 office at or by stopping by at 1100 Medical Drive in Mt. Pleasant. The class will be held if a minimum of 12 individuals register. For more information, contact Dianne Carr at 489-423- 0 or Linda Cox at the hospital. 462-244- Eudora Madsen Nielson Eudora Madsen Nielson, age 86, died Sunday, August 1 8, 1 996, at her home in St. George, Utah of causes incident to age. She was born June 21, 1910 in Ephraim, Utah to Daniel F. and Mary A. Rasmussen. She attended Ephraim City schools and graduated from Snow College in 1930, studying foods and nutrition. She married Glen E. Nielson June 4, 1930 in the Manti LDS Temple. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 21, 1996 in the Dixie Downs Chapel in St. George, Utah.
