Show Thursday, June 12, 1997 Messenger-Enterpris- e Page 5 Many entries participate in Ephraim Mud Bog The 1997 second annual Ephraim Mud Bog, under the direction of Brent and Nadine Peterson, was held Saturday May 3 at the Ephraim Rodeo Grounds. Ephraim was chosen two yars ago by the HMRA (Home Town Mud Racers Association) as one site for their races. There were 87 entries, some from as far away as Wyoming and 1 Idaho. There were 30-4- 0 children who participated in the final event, the childrens fun run, through the mud. There were two categories; and Each winner received $20.00. ages -8 2. The Friends of Ephraim Library helped Brent and Nadine Peterson coordinate this event. The Anderson families and Snow College volunteers organized and manned the concession booth. All profits from the event and the concessions will be given to the Friends of Ephraim Library, who are raising funds to purchase computers for the library. QOOuD ooo Sanpete Sheriff Booking Report Armondo Luis Caro, age 23 of Gunnison was arrested on June 5th by Sanpete County Sheriff on Christianburg Road. He was charged with having no insurance, an open container and driving on suspension. Bail was set at $1380. Jerry Kirk Sevy, age 31 of Centerfield was arrested on June 6 by Sanpete County Sheriff in Centerfield. He was charged with posession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. Bail was set at $15,185. Shane R. Miller, age 24 of Centerfield was arrested on June 6 by Sanpete County Sheriff in Centerfield. He was charged with posession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,185. Wanda M. Barton, age 37 of Centerfield was arrested on June 6 by Sanpete County Sheriff in Centerfield. She was charged with posession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distrib AV ute a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,185. Korinna Marie Nebeker, age 28, of Richfield was arrested on June 6 by Sanpete County Sheriff in Centerfield. She was charged with posession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,185. Terry Lynn Thomas, age 28, of Centerfield was arrested on June 6 by Sanpete County Sheriff in Centerfield. Pleasant was arrested June 8 in Mt. Pleasant by ML Pleasant Police. Cruz was charged with D.U.I and open container. Bail was set at $1600. Gerald Douglas Willden, age 46 of Mayfield was arrested June 8 in Mayfield by SanpeteGounty Sheriff.
