After getting off to a slow start conference, the Badgers went on a tear, winning six of their last seven games, putting themselves back into the conference race; in however, after taking the first game from Dixie College last the Rebels reweekend, 5-- 1, bounded and won the next three, 1 and 3-- 2, 4-- 6-- 0. The weekend lowered Snows conference record to 1 1, all but eliminating the Badgers from SWAC title consideration.
