Ivo Ray Peterson was raised in Richfield; the son of Adrian D. and Melba Peterson. He is the hus- band of Barbara Peterson and the father of Nikki Hess, Adrian and Maren Peterson. He works for Snow College as a Transfer Counselor, helping students who are graduating from Snow with the intention of attending another school the following year. Petersons first memorable acting experience --- the one for which he still knows both vocal parts to the duet, was as a student at Richfield Middle School (Junior High). He played the lead in Love Pirates of I lawaii. His first experience directing something was as a senior in high school, when he directed the Miss Richfield Pageant. There are many surprises in the activities available, to satisfy just about any type of interest or energy level. The variety includes everything from art and history museums to fishing and other outdoor recreation, to craft nooks and antique shops. For those who like to shop and sightsee; Sanpete is recognized state-wid- e as the craft corridor of Utah. Over 100 of these craft creators are represented at a craft fair at the Sanpete County Fairgrounds throughout the pageant. In addition there are at least two craft andor antique stores in almost every town of Sanpete from Fountain Green to Ccnterfield. As well, there are several bed and breakfast inns in each community, which are rich in history and cultural flavor. d tours are available in both Spring City and Mount Pleasant maps are available at most shops along the Main Streets in those towns. The Fairview Museum of History and Art can be found just one block east of Highway 89 in Self-guide- Fairview. Manti boasts a heritagehis-tor- y museum and a genealogical research center. Rangeland and watershed researchers moved to Ogden in the 1970s; the buildings were abandoned. Snow College and the Forest Scrv ice worked out a program where the buildings could be preserved.
