Pleasant, Ver- nal, Price, Hanksville, Coalville, Wendover and surrounding communities to independent Utah telecommunications companies. Companies purchasing the telephone exchanges include Manti Telephone, Central Utah Telephone, UBTA Communications, Emery Telephone, All West Com- - the trailer court. Although Elegante did his best to stop his vehicle, the force of the impact combined with the added weight of four horses and a horse trailer propelled Ricks pickup forward into another vehicle that was parked on the street. Both the Sheriff s Office vehicle and the small pickup parked on the street sustained major damage. Elegante was finally able to stop his truck. He and Johnson were distraught, but otherwise unharmed. The driver of the van, Esperanza Magano of Chester, was injured and the Ephraim Ambulance was paged out. Assistance was provided at the scene and Magano was transported to Sanpete Valley Hospital w here she was treated for injuries to the nb cage. Investigating Officer Robert Marshall cited Magano for failure to yield. Because of the number of vehicles involved in the accident and the need for the ambulance, traffic flow was severely restricted and several Ephraim City police officers responded to the scene to help assist with traffic.
