Two photos en-o- f tered by Wilford Thomas placed Jr., 4886 S. 2350 W., shared fourth place honors. Jean Brownings photo a river placed fifth. She lives at of the icy shores of 1778 W. 4450 S., Roy. Judges for the photo contest were Aleda v, ' . Yourdon, freelance and photographer j manager of Aardvark in Salt Lake City, and Pete Bave, a special effects , photographer and tified counselor. cer- photographic Yourdon studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City for three years. Bave works for Inkleys as an audio visual technician in Salt Lake City. Turley will receive a Nikon EM camera from Alpine Camera,' cosponsor of the contest. The other winners will receive eight hours of photo instruction from Alpine Camera. Subject of the contest was second in the Lakeside Review contest which was geared to the subject of winter. SNOWCAPPED MOUNTAINS mirrored in the waters of the Great Salt Lake were captured on Aim by Edmond Hoggan of Clearfield. His photo placed Winter, and amateur photographers in the lakeside area were invited to enter.
