Show Iago 10A. Lakeside Review, April 1, 19111 Temple Near Completion Officials of the LDS Church say construction of the Jordan River Temple is approximately 80 percent complete and on schedule. Wallace G. McPhie, director of temples and special projects construction of the church, says the building, situated at 10200 S. 1300 W., should be finished and ready for occupancy toward the latter part of this year. McPhie says the lower facade work is now on the building and the tower facade will go on in the near future. d He says a bronze, statue of the Angel Moroni, the work of Salt Lake sculptor Avard Fairbanks,1 will be placed atop the tower sometime late in the summer. Public open house and dedicatory service dates will be announced by the first presidency of the church. Home Tour April A tour of eight homes in the ROY Roy area is being sponsored by the Roy High School PTSA to raise funds for the school marquee.
