Show Lakeside Review, Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1983 Dinner Dated Dr. Carol Lois Clark to Dotas Honor Dr. Carol BOUNTIFUL, Lois Clark, Consumer Educa tion Specialist, Utah State Attorney Generals Office, will be the speaker at the membership meeting of the Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will be held at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 16, in the Pine Room of the Servus Drug, 55 North Main Street, The Attorney General announced last September that a new staff position had been established and that Dr. Clark would fill the position. ROY Christy Richins, 12, will appear on KSLs Talent Showcase on Sunday, Feb., 13 at 4 p.m. Richins, whose talent is clogging, won first place in the intermediate division of the Farm with the Wild WestCloggers, a performing group. Richins is the daughter of Barbara and Nolan Richins of Roy. Carol is qualified to bring this educational program to the area. She graduated from the University of Utah in 1970 with a B.A. Degree. In 1972, she rej ceived her Masters in Education along with a Ph.D. in Cultural Foundations of Education in 1979. She did postdoctoral studies in 1980 at Columbia University. Dr. Clark has been involved in the educational field as a teacher, curriculum consultant, program specialist, chairing ac creditation teams and as a La Leche League of The will hold the fourth in its series of meetings on Feb. 15, 1983, at the home of Barbara Western, 5924 S. 2700 W., Roy, at 9:30 a.m. The topic for discussion is Nutrition and Weaning. The group was originally formed to provide an expressive outlet for these talented young mothers. They possess a love of music and enjoy sharing their love through song and dance. Their smiles and rhythmic enthusiasm provide a program which is a.treat to behold.
