Show postoffice POST OFFICE RULING ON NEWSPAPER subscriptions below are the rulings of the postoffice post office department as regards newspaper subscriptions first subscribers who do not give express notice to the contrary are considered as wishing to continue their subscription second if the subscriber orders discontinuance of periodicals the publisher may continue to send the same until all arrearages are paid third if f a subscriber neglects or refuses to take the periodicals from the post postoffice lice office to which they have been directed he la Is held responsible till he has settled his bill and ordered the paper discontinued fourth if subscribers 1 bers move to other places with without alt informing the publisher and the paper is sent to the former direction they are held sible fifth the courts have decided that refusing to take periodicals from the postoffice post office or removing and leaving them uncalled f for r is a prima facie evidence of intentional fraud sixth any person who receives c aives a newspaper pap er and makes use of it whether he has ordered it or not is held in law to be a subscriber |
