Show A resolution A resolution providing for and ordering a special election tor the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of carbon county state of utah the question of incurring a bonded indebtedness to the amount of thirty thousand 30 dollars as fol follows loss twenty five thousand dol lars jars for defraying def baying raying the present expense of bridges constructed and foi building permanent bridges and cul verts over the following streams lowit lo to wit price river at spring glen price river at price price river at wellington and castle gate also on Pleas pleasant rint and fish lish creeks in pleasant valley soldier creek nine mile creek argyle creek miller creek and generally throughout said carbon county and five thousand dollars dollari for the purpose of improving the present roada in haul said carbon I loupy the board of county commissioners of the county of carbon ordains as follows follow section I 1 that there is an immediate and pre pressing sing neLes necessity sity for funds with which to defray the present expense of bridges constructed ted and for building permanent bridges and culverts over the following sti cams in said baid carbon county on price river at spring glen price wellington and castle gate and on pleasant and fish creeks in pleasant valley on soldier creek nine mile able creek argyle and miller creeks and generally genei genci ally throughout said carbon county to do which in the manner required calls for and requires an expenditure of twenty five thousand U dollars section 2 that there is immediate and pressing necessity for completing pl eting improving and adding to the present roads of said carbon county for the purpose of providing adequate means of transportation for the inhabitants thereof and the general public and to that end to improve the county road from castle gate running through helper spring glen Carb carbonville Car bonville oriville price and wellington and thence on to sunny side to do which in the manner required calls for and requires an expenditure pend iture of five thousand dollars section 3 that there are not sufficient funds in the county treasury of said carbon county to defray said expense or any part thereof and that in order to defray the ax expense of making the proposed in improvements n prove ments mentioned in sections 1 and 2 of this resolution it is necessary for said carbon county to incur a bonded indebtedness to raise funds in the following amounts to wit for defraying the present expense of bridges constructed and for building permanent bridges and culverts over the following streams in said carbon county to wit price river at spring glen price wellington and castle G agte antl pleasant and fish creeks in pleasant valley and soldier nine mile argyle and miller creeks and generally throughout said carbon county twenty five thousand 25 WO dollars for completing improving and adding to the county roads f from rom castle gate running through helper spring glen carbonville Car bonville price wellington and thence on to sunny side five thousand doll dollars hrs section 4 that in pursuance of and under the power and arid authority contained in section sight bf the compiled aled laws of 1907 of ot the state of utah tah it is hereby ordered that a special election be held in n carbon county and the various voting districts thereof in said carbon county state of utah on the day of april A D 1910 for the purpose of submitting to such qualified electors of said county as shall have paid a property tax in said carbon counte county in the bear ear next preceding suc such election the question of incurring P bonded indebted indebtedness neis in the sum of twenty five thousand dollars for the purpose of defraying the expense of the bridges con strutted and for building permanent bridges and culverts over the following 0 mg streams to wit price river nt t spring glen gle price wellington and castle gate gat pleasant valley and fish creem creeks in in pleasant valley soldier r creek nwe mile creek argyle creek miller creek and generally throughout the said counte of carbon as sot set out in section I 1 of this resolution also the question of incurring a bonded indebtedness of thousand dollars for the te pu purpose of def defraying raying tac expense 0 of f com completing p c t ng improving and adding to the county roads from castle gate and running thence through helper spring glen carbon carbo bodille bo mille ille price wellington and thence on to sunnyside Sunny side said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of not to exceed 5 per cent per annum which interest shall be pa payable able acini said bonds shall become due and pa able at the of twenty ment pears ears from the hue late of issue thereof with the option rc reserved ered to said carbon county to pa or redeem the same at any time after the expiration of ten teni nears eari after date late of aue thereof and aid raid bonds shall b be of such de nomination or denominations as the board of county commissioners of said carbon county hereinafter determine and the said board board of county commissioners shall hall annually lew a sufficient tax to pay interest on the said raid bonds for raids and bridges brid gres as it falls due also to constitute a sinking fund for the dayml payment nt of said baid bonds said sa id election shall be conducted according to the statutes and laws of the state of utah and shall be held in manner and form provided thereby section 5 the county attorney and county clerk are hereby required to make proclamation of said special election by publication and porting 1 3 of a notice thereof in two to weekly newspapers nes papers published and circulated in said carbon county for five fhe
