She was born April 16, 1929 to Edward and Minnie Bruno Richeda. Member of the Catholic Church. Lifelong resident of Stella Helper. Member DAmerica Lodge 77, where she Survivors Board, Desertview Federal include wife, Lucille Willson, Elmo; two sons and one daughter, Boyd and Koree Willson, Shelley, Ida.; Calvin and Loretta Willson, Logan; and Emily and David Tanner, Ogden. Also survived by loving grandchildren; and sister, Vonda and Joe Hadfield, Tooele. He was preceded in death by parents; five brothers; one sister; and son, Robert Navon Willson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 20, 1 p.m., at the Elmo LDS Ward Chapel. Family will be at the church from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. for visiting. A viewing will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price. Committal service, Elmo Cemetery. Credit Union- - He was politically active as well. He served as the mayor of Elmo and also on the town council. He was a delegate to the State Democratic Convention several times. Vardens love of the outdoors and animals started at an early age. He was active in the organization 4-- H from the time he was 8 years old. He worked actively in the South Eastern Junior Livestock Show for 20 years. He was happiest when he was working with the land or the animal with his kids. I le stood as a beacon of integrity to his family and all that knew him. He will be greatly missed, but forever revered. Dee Bruce Staker Lavonne Ellefsen of Mt. Pleasant, Gayle Renee Hanks of Findley, Ariz., Kathleen Lynn Staker of Woodland Hills, Kimberly Ann Deardeuff of Woodland Hills, Kevin Bruce Stake of Fredricksburg, Va.; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-granchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Howard Staker, and sisters: Virginia Ellerd, Lucille Jensen, and Beth Swedberg. He was preceded in death by his WOODLAND HILLS - Dee Bruce Staker, age 75, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002 at his home in Woodland Hills. He was born Sept. 5, 1926 in Huntington to Lawrence Raymond and Eliza Amy Howard Staker. He married La Von Peterson on Jan. 6, 1944 in Huntington. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Flails Temple in June d- 1950. parents, a brother, and five sisters. Funeral services under the Bruce served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed by the U.S. Government as a Civil Service Agent for over 35 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints where he served as High Priest, Sunday School President, teacher, and Name Extraction Worker. He enjoyed doing genealogy in his spare time. He is survived by his wife, LaVon; his children: Bonnie Castle Dale 1st and 2nd Wards meet at 1 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the Stake Center on Main Street. Lucy worked as the secretary for Helper J unior H igh for 1 0 years, 19 years for Sears & Roebuck as audit manager and later retired from Helper City as city recorder with 15 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed her Wendover trips and will be dearly missed by all. Survived by sister, Olive M. Richeda, Helper; numerous cousins; and a community of lifelong friends. Active member of the LDS church where Joy and her husband served a mission together in St. George. She was interested in many things, quilting, crafts, pets, fishing, and most of all her family. Joy loved life and all that life could offer.
