Show Welcome to Kindergarten a tradition at Castle Dale Elementary for the children who have been through a year of kindergarten to show the ropes to the incoming class of youngsters. The old pros show the new students how to find their way around the school. They show them the drinking fountains, where to find the bathrooms, playground and many other important things for new students to know. The students were treated to a story by new school secretary, Colleen Bott and the new principal, Ralph Worthen welcomed them to the school. Geniel Huntington also welcomed the students and told them a little about what things would be like when they enter school next fall. Principal Huntington said, We have used this program for several years to acquaint the incoming kindergarten students with the school. This gives the older children a chance to befriend the younger students and help make entering school not quite as scary. It COMMUNITY MOTORS 354 So.
