Mrs. Ora Campbell returned home from California where she spent the past month with her twin daughters. She was a guest in Sacramento of Mrs. Bula Bird and visited in lone, Calif, with Bud and Rula Campbell and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Christensen and daughter Megan of Ely, Nev. visited Monday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Cleon Christensen while en route home from a trip to Denver. Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Worthen will return home April 29 from serving on an LDS mission to North Carolina. They are parents of Mr. and Ohio-Kirklan- d Mrs. Spence Kinard of Fruit Heights. They will be visiting in Fruit Heights for a few weeks after their return with their son and his family before going on to their home in Boise, Ida. Mrs. Goldie King and daughter Mrs. Patricia Barber and son and his family, Attorney and Mrs. King all attended the Violin recital of Circe King in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Circe is the daughter of Attorney and Mrs. King and is in the advanced student group. Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. Preece attended the Swan Lake Ballet on Friday evening in Salt Lake City. Elder Gregory Scott Anderson returned home from serving on an LDS mission to the Argentina-Baha- i Blanca Mission. He is the son of Mrs. Karla Anderson of 940 E. Kingswood Road. He gave his mission report Sunday, April 15 in the Kaysville 12th LDS Ward at his homecoming. Mrs. Maude Ririe of Magarth, Alberta. Canada has been visiting with her relatives in Salt Lake City and Kaysville. She came to attend the wedding of her granddaughter in Salt Lake City. While here her sister Mrs. Stewart died on Wednesday. and on Saturday, April 14 April her other sister Mrs. Sarah B. Strong died. She attended both funeral services before returning home to Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Holt returned Fel-sha- Fcl-sha- Zip-pora- h 1 1 home after visiting in Denver. Colo, w ith their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. David Peart. Mrs. Texie Hill of Half Way, Ore. has been visiting with her son and his family. Dr. and Mrs. Kevin Hill and with her other children in this area. She also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Glen W. Hill, her brother and sister-in-labefore returning to Oregon. Dr. and Mrs. Kevin Hill and children drove her back to Oregon to spend the Easter holiday weekend. Mrs. Emily Barnes attended the graveside services on Tuesday in Farmington for her sister Fimma Rice at the Farmington City Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Taylor entertained at dinner Saturday evening for 12 of Salt l.ake City. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smuin motored to Kanab where they enjoyed a weeks visit with their daughter and family, Arden and Darlene Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. Riley Bushnell and all of their family attended the wedding of their granddaughter Laura and Tom Nicholson who were married Saturday, April 14 at the home of Lauras parents. Mutton Hollow Road, has been called to serve an LDS mission to the Netherlands-Amsterdamission. Miss Foote spoke in Sacrament meeting on Sunday, April 15 in the Kaysville 20th LDS Ward at her mission farewell. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard (Dick) Stewart and daughter Julie of Santa Clara, Calif, arrived to attend the funeral service of his mother, Mrs. Zipporah Stewart on April 14. Elder Jay Ward who is leaving Monday for his mission to Brazil was recipient of his "Duty to God" award on Sunday. The award was given to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Ward who will give it to Jay at the airport in Salt Lake City prior to his leaving to serve his mission. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meacham were guests at a birthday dinner on April 8 in Layton at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Taylor.
