Gentile, Layton, will celebrate their 50th anniversary at an open house on Saturday, March 24 from p.m. at the Layton 2nd Ward, 2120 W. Gentile, Layton. 4-- 7 THE COUPLE was married March 28, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. John was born in Roy on April 27, 1912, a son of John and Gertrude B. Meibos. Mrs. Meibos was born April 15, 1913 in Plain City, a daughter of William Alma and Sarah R. Hodson. MR. AND MRS. DAVID P. CHRISTENSEN March Ceremony Leslie Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer D. Adams of Kaysvillc and David P. Christensen, son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert J. Christensen of Layton were married March 6 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. THE BRIDE is a graduate of Davis High School and the University of Utah. She served an LDS mission to Switzerland and France and is currently teaching ballet at the University of Utah. The groom graduated from Layton High School and the University of Utah. He served a mission for the LDS Church to Taiwan and will soon complete his studies in dentistry at Northwestern University at Chicago, III. ENTERTAINING for the bride were Mrs. LeGrand Gregory of Farmington, Mrs. Manuel Martinez and Mrs. Florence Mace of Ogden, Mrs. Craig Taylor, Mrs. Robert MEIBOS has been a farmer all his life. He was employed by the Davis County School District as a bus driver for 17 years. He was president of the West Layton Irrigation Com MR. AND MRS. BRAD LEE GARRETT pany for a number of years. They are both active in the LDS Church where he has served in the presidenty of the Sunday School, MIA, stake presidents of 70s, Bishopric, home teacher. High Priest group leader. Mrs. Meibos has served as a Primary teacher and secretary, MIA teacher. Relief Society president and counselor and visiting teacher. They both served a mission to the New York Rochester Mission and are ordinances workers in the Ogden Temple where they have served for 10 years. THEY ARE parents of Mrs. David (Jean) Porter, Riverdale and Darrell Meibos, Layton; Dee Meibos and Jack Meibos, both deceased. They have 10 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Wed In Temple Rites Paula Snow and Brad Lee Garrett were married March 7 in the Ogden Temple. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Richard Craig and LaDean Snow of 778 Wasatch Dr., Layton. The groom is the son of Verl B. and Lucille Garrett of 1065 S. 1000 W Clearfield. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at Andys Chuckwagon and a reception at their ward. THE BRIDE wore a white chiffon gown with chantilly lace, long puffy sleeves, high neck, ruffled train and carried a bouquet of pink and blue silk flowers. THE COUPLE was married in Pocatello, Ida. on Jan. 31, 1934 with their vows later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Stephenson was born March23, 1913 in Preston, Ida. n He was the son of Daniel A RECEPTION in their honor was held March 16 at the Kaysville South LDS Stake Center. Hosting the reception were parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Gary A. Petersen of Kaysville. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Lea Davis and the late John R. Davis of Auburn, Calif. THE BRIDE has served an LDS England mission. She will graduate from Brigham Young University with her degree in family relations and child development. The groom served an LDS for Blocks store in Clearfield for several years. Their early married life was in Lava Hot Springs, moving to Syracuse in spent Ida., 1959. THEY ARE parents of six children, Beverly S. Syphus, Clearfield; Leonard Stephenson, North Ogden; Mrs. Paul (Carolyn) Howard, Dee Stephenson, and Mrs. David (Marcia) Beach, all of Kaysvil-l- e and Ross Stephenson, Houston, Tex. They have 18 grandchildren.
