Show MARCH 21, 1984 Yernon J. Clay Jennifer Anderson Succumbs Dies After Illness Cloyd West Dies At Age 90 Vernon James Clay, 74, of 17 S. Mountain Road, Fruit Heights, died Monday, March 12, 1984 in the Humana Davis North Hospital following an extended illness. Utah; Mrs. Vay (Doll) Lyons. Mountain Home, Utah and Catheryn Bleazard. Black-foo- ft e t. Ida. FUNERAL services were held Saturday at a.m. at the Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary Chapel. Interment was in the Larkins Sunset Gardens in Sandy. FUNERAL was under the direction of Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary. Bishop Robert Dunford officiated at the funeral services. Family prayer was by Ferron Thayne: prelude and postlude music, George Rytting; Wheatley; Whispering Hope" by Alene Fryer and Becky Burbank, accompanied by Karma Spackman; benediction. Larrv Allen. March 13. 1984 in a Clearfield nursing home of causes incident to age. 3(H) were Danny West. David Black, Phillip Black, Jim Bird. Dan Bird and Robert Thayne. Flowers were cared for by the Kaysville 14lh Ward Relief Society. MR. WEST was born Aug. 21. 1893 in SpringCity. Utah. a son of Joseph and Drucilla Lisombe West. He married Val Hitchcock in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died in 1917. He married Reva Hitchcock. They were later divorced. He married Reta Childs in August 9. 1934 in Price. She died Sept. 4. Infant Nathaniel Parmley Dies 1982. HE HAD been a farmer in both Utah and Idaho. He lived in Mountain Home, Utah: Blackfoot, Ida. and Deweyvil-le- . For the last four years he had resided in Kaysville. He was a member of the LDS Church and was active in all of the church auxiliaries. He was also a temple worker. SURVIVING are one son. Kent West, Salt Lake City; one step-so- n and one stepdaughter. Delbert E. Black. Kaysville: and Mrs. Ferron (Noreen) Thayne, Deweyville and 14 grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and three sisters. Art West. Mountain Home. Utah; Maude Bunce, Springville. Nathaniel Matheson Parmley, infant son of Richard A. and Kathryn Louise Matheson Parmley, died Friday, March 16, 1984 at the St. Benedicts Hospital just shortly after birth. HIS PARENTS are members of the Layton West 26th Ward. Surviving are his parents of Layton, one brother, Seth Richardson Parmley of Layton. ALSO SURVIVING are his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell F. Parmley, Ogden; Mrs. Chester R. Matheson of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Layton, died Tuesday. March 13. 1984 at the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City of complications following surgery. Accident Claims Brian R. Slade Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 14 in the Kaysville Utah Crestwood Stake Center for Brian Roy Slade, 18, of 476 N. 300 E Kaysville, who was found dead on Friday, March 9, in Lake Norfolf, Mountain Home, Arkansas, following a boating accident on March 3. HE WAS born June 15, 1965, in Ogden, a son of Harold Dean and Del Rae Secrist Slade. He was on active duty as Navy Airman and was stationed at the Naval Air Tech Training Center, Memphis Naval Tenn. Navy HE Air Station, Millington, He enlisted in the U.S. July 12, 1983. HAD lived in Kaysville for 18 years and graduated from Davis High School in 1983. He was a member of the Davis High School Marching and Symphonic Bands. HE WAS a member of the Kaysville 18th LDS Ward and was active in church and scouting activities. . HE HAD retired from his job in the water service department of the Union Pacific Railroad Co. He was reared in Bountiful. He graduated from Davis High School. HE HAD lived in Oregon and was a resident of Fruit Heights for 32 years. He was a member of the Fruit Heights 3rd LDS Ward. He served an LDS mission to the Northwestern States. He also served several stake missions. He served in the branch presidency at Coos Bay, Ore. HE WAS active in the Boy Scouts and had attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Surviving are his widow of Fruit Heights, four sons and two daughters, Robert T. Clay, Caliente, Nev.; V. Edward Clay, Copenhagen, Denmark; Gary L. Clay, Pleasant Grove and James B. Clay, West Jordan; Mrs. Gordon W. (Inola) Smith, Farmington and Mrs. Jon M. She had been a student at Mar Lon Hills Elementary School in Ogden. She was a member of the ALSO SURVIVING are her LDS Ward. James Hardin Williams, 63, of 1493 Marilyn Drive, Layton, died Friday, March 16, 1984 at his home after an extended illness. HE WAS bom Jan. 20, 1921 in Little Rock, Arkansas, a son of Thomas G. and Mamie Franklin Williams. He married Ada London on Jan. 26, 1946 in Ogden.
