Jrt (vy;v? y. , wx .M MORGAN DISPLAYS The Fine Arts committee of Kaysville Civic Association is featuring a local artist for their October Art Display at the Barnes Banking Company in Kaysville. SAMUEL ADAMS Morgan of Salt Lake City and formerly of Layton is the featured artist. s His paintings include with two pen and ink. His art inerest is in local Utah art scenes and early homes in the Kaysville and Layton area. water-color- HE IS currently employed in Graphic Design. Mr. Morgans first art instructor was James Arbon. Alice Gerber and Veda Morley admire paintings by artist Samuel Adams Morgan, on display through October at Barnes Bank. while he was attending Central Davis Jr. High. His first show was (One Man) while in the 8th grade at junior high. DURING School at Layton High he took art classes under Artist Beth Corina and studied art for two years while attending Brigham young University in Provo. While at the University of Utah for three years he took many classes in fine arts and graphic design. He received his degree in advertising from the University of Utah. HIS SHOWS include, Deseret News Art Show, First National Bank of Layton and LeConte Stewart Art Gallery. Mr. Morgan has drawn calendars for the First and Second National Bank of Layton for the past 10 years and did the calendar one year for Ogden Zions Bank. THE son of John and Carol Morgan of Layton and has served a LDS Mission to the Japan- - Koe mission. He is married to the former Sharon Treadway and they have one HE IS son, Tucker. Much of this was accomplished without increases in the mill levy or the bonded in- their annual membership drive.
