Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mann received word of the birth of a bom July 14 to Mr. and Mrs. Garren Decker of Roy, their first child. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Godfrey entertained at a patio dinner at their home Saturday evening for 16 guests. In addition to Mr. Adams, others were Mrs. Steven Hirst, Ron Galli. Sheri Galli, Richard Hirst, Heather Hamilton, Cheryl Card, Linda Hunter, Beverly Snell, Kenny Johnson, Robin Maryon, Karma Pederson, Dan Williams, Misty Hams and Gayla Clontz. Announcing the arrival of a daughter are Dr. and Mrs. Steven Allen of Kaysville. She arrived on July 5 at the Lake-vieHospital in Bountiful and is being welcomed by three brothers and two sisters. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wallace F. Allen, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Rogers of Liberty Mr. and Mrs. Wallace F. Allen vacationed for five days in San Francisco, Calif. They visited friends in Santa Rosa and relatives in Sunnyvale. Mrs. Betty Sides visited with her twin sister Mrs. Maxine Glasgow who is at the St. Marks Hospital where she underwent major surgery. . TAMERAS Guide Dog was raised by member 4-- Eli- zabeth Gwin of Orangevale, Calif. The raising of Guide Dogs puppies is an accredited project. The pup is bom at the Guide Dog school. Although it costs Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc., more than $ 10,000 to produce a single person-do- g unit, there is no charge to the blind person for either the valuable animal or the training. The school receives no government funding and is supported entirely by private contributions. parents are currently being offered by St. Benedicts Hospital. Classes are held on Wednesday or Thursday evenings and will run for eight weeks. THE FIRST of the series begins on Wednesday, Aug. 3 and is repeated Thursday, Aug. 4. Participants may register either night at 6:45 p.m. Fee for the eight week series is $5. He became separated from the members of his deer hunting party and has not been seen since.
