Show Mr. and Mrs. Greg Hodson and four children of low a City. Iowa have been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gerber and family in Kaysville and with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hodson at Farmington. While here Mrs. Perkins entertained at a family dinner in honor of her mother s birthday anniversary. Guests included her mother and father, and the Perkins three sons and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Perkins, West Valley City, Mr. and Mrs. John Perkins, Farmington; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Perkins, Tabonia and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Conover of Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cottrell, Ralph Layton, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Layton and family, Mrs. Coleen Layton and children of Las Vegas, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee and family of Clearfield attended the Layton family gathering in Salt Lake City on Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Layton. Curtis Cloward flew in from Orange, Calif, to attend the wedding and reception of his niece, Jodi Bourne who was married on Wednesday, June 22, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bourne. He visited with his parents d Mr. and Mrs. Howard before returning home. Amy O'Brien, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene OBrien underwent major surgery at the hospital. She is 11 years old. Bryan and Kathleen Harvey and son Taylor are visiting her Clo-w'ar- CalledTo Serve from Utah State University. She taught school for two years in Garland. She has been a leader for many years. Served in the presidency of Clinton and Ethel Zollinger have been called to serve an LDS mission in the Washington, Spokane mission. The resiZollingers are long-tim- e dents of Kaysville. ELDER DEAN 4-- ELDER Zollinger is originalfrom Providence, Utah. He recently retired as director of Vocational Education in the Davis County School District June 30. He has held many church callings including counselor in Kaysville and East Kaysville Stake presidencies, bishop, Sunday School teacher, district chairman of Francis Peak district and scouting coordinator. Has served as a missionary in Switzerland and the Southern States. ly SISTER Zollinger was bom Logan, daughter of Wesley and Martha Stender Nelson. She was educated in Cache County Schools and graduated in the Relief Society and the Primary organizations. She served on the MIA and Relief Society stake boards. She has been active all her life in the music departments. At the present she is in the German Extraction program. THE COUPLE have seven living children, Gary, Ruth Ann, Marie, Martha and Richard, who are married. Karen is attending BYU and Edwin is at Utah State University. An open house will be held Saturday evening from p.m. at their home at 531 E. 6-- 9 Elder Lyn M. Dean, son of Nowlan K. Dean and Margie Dean, has accepted his calling to serve in the Lima Peru South Mission. A FAREWELL in his honor is scheduled for July 10 at 1 p.m. at the W'asatch Chapel in Layton. He will enter the MTC on July 14. ELDER Dean graduated from Layton High School and was also a graduate of seminary. He is a member of the Layton 1st W'ard. 2nd S., Kaysville, July 9. Elder Harry Duckworth and wife Carol have returned from LDS miserving a ssion to the Washington-Spokan- e Mission. They returned home Wednesday, June 22. They gave their mission report on Sunday, June 26 in the Kaysville 2nd Ward Sacrament meeting. They served in Clark Fork, Ida. and Mr. Duckworth was branch president while there. Elder Mark H. Staples, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Staples of 1015 Thomfield Rd.. Kaysville has accepted a mission call to the Korea-Seou- l Mission. Elder Staples will enter the Mission Training Center on Aug. 18. He is a member of the Ward. Kaysville Elder Steve Keck has received his call to serve an LDS Mission to the New mission. He is a member of the Kaysville 2th Ward. He will enter the Mission Training Center on Aug. 12th Mexico-Albuquerq- 1 11. He is a son of Lt. Col. (Ret), and Mrs. Roy Keck. Elder Bobby Hess, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hess returned from serving an LDS mission to the New York New York City mission. ELDER HESS gave his report in the Kaysville 4th LDS Ward Sacrament meeting. He left on his mission from the 4th Ward and his parents moved to Brigham City before he returned. He will be making his home in Brigham City, np Elder Mark W. Seegmiller, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Seegmiller, 32 N. 400 W., Kaysville, has been called to the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission for the LDS Church. HE WILL enter the MTC on July 21. Mark graduated from Davis High School and LDS Seminary in 1982. He was active in Band and the orchestra prog- ram. He also received the Eagle Scout award. HE WAS in the Lagoon Show Band and is presently employed by the Davis County Schools. His farewell will be on July 10 at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 West Center at 12 noon. AN OPEN house will be held at his home that afternoon from 3:30-6:3- 0 p.m. Nathan, Craig and Adam Fisher, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Fisher participated in the National Wrestling meet at Boise, Ida. last week. Miss Jane Ann Kemp of Redwood City, Calif, is visiting for 10 days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kemp and family. Jane Ann came for the mission farewell of her brother Elder Matthew Kemp who left on his mission to Denmark and also to attend her Davis High Class 10th reunion. Friday afternoon she and parents Bishop and Mrs. James Brough for three weeks prior to moving to Rochester, New York where he has accepted a position with Eastman Kodak Company.
