THE OPEN house is from 8 p.m. and persons wishing to see the maternity facilities may begin their tour on the second floor of the Dee wing. This newly-decorate- portion of d the maternity area is the beginning of remodeling which will give a whole new look, and a new concept of childbirth, to the hospital. The new area includes large, d rooms which are all nicely decorated, a new nursery and an open patio available to patients and their families. REPORT was made by the auction committee on the auction held at the Layton Hills Mall on May 6. Substantially all items contributed for the auction were sold. About Us Getting made simple The hospital has responded to demands and changes in patient attitudes when it comes to maternity care, says Elaine Miller, mar- private rooms nicely Dr. Noel Tanner, longtime resident of Layton, expressed his opinion that floods are unnecessary and result from failure to take reasonable precautions. He proposed that the clubs work with local authorities to refurbish old flood control and prevention facilities as well as constructing new and additional facilities. DR. TANNER pointed out that the extensive terracing on mountains east of the communities in Davis County have been largely neglected since their construction by the CCC during the 1930s. The terraces are reportedly full of silt and no longer effective. Dr. Tanner also pointed out that the areas damaged by floods and mud have historically been subject to such problems and similar events were common in prior years. The floods of 1923 were the most dramatic illustration of where the danger areas are located but were far from being isolated events. OPE- N- led play or recreation.
