Redford of 1238 Bluff Road, Syracuse, returned Saturday MISSIONARIES from the Connecticut Hartford LDS Mission. He will speak Sunday at 1:45 p.m. in the Syracuse 3rd Ward chapel. Tribune, Chicago. f Elder William Blake Hawkes returned home re- cently from serving his mission to the South Dakota Rapid City LDS Mission. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Howard Hawkes of Kaysville. 700 E., Kaysville, has accepted a call to serve in the Scotland Edinburgh Mission. HIS FAREWELL will be held Feb. 27 in the Kaysville 3th Ward at 875 E. 200 N. at 2:45 p.m. He will enter the Mission Training Center, March 17. Elder Cottrell is a graduate of Davis High and Seminary. He has played basketball and baseball for Davis High. He has served as first assistant to the bishop in the Priest quorum. HE IS a recipient of the Duty of God award. He has also attended the College of Eastern Utah. He is employed at the Utah Department of Transportation. An open house will be held for family and friends following the meeting at his home. HER MISSION farewell will be held Sunday, Feb. 27 at the Crestwood Chapel at 8:30 a.m. at 1039 E. Crestwood Rd., Kaysville. Miss Casdorph graduated from Davis High School and Kaysville LDS Seminary in 1979. While at Davis she was a member of the marching band , pep club and cheerleader squad. SHE ATTENDED the Ogden LDS Institute and Weber State College where she graduated from the Associate Degree Nursing program in 1982. She is currently employed at St. Benedicts Hospital as a registered nurse, np Mrs. Tommie G. Matthews of Fruit Heights and Mr. and Elder Hawkes 9 Maureen Casdorph, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Casdorph of Kaysville, has accepted an LDS mission call to the Philippines Manila Mission. She weighed in at 6 lb. 8 oz. and was named Shaela. At home is a brother Bradley. The mother is the former attended Weber State College prior to his mission. Mrs. Emily Ashby attended Layton; Miss Holly Umpleby, Salt Lake City were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Umpleby on Sunday, Feb. 6 in Salt Lake City, and all attended the blessing and naming of Blaines infant son, Stephen. The daughters of Mrs. JoAnn Hawkins, Mary, Carolyn, Rebecca, Elaine and Sylvia attended a stork shower for their cousin, Mrs. Brian Buchanan held in Salt Lake City on Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Pat McAllister. Mrs. Lona Mae Godfrey went to Rapid City, South Dakota and spent a week with her daughter and family. Dr. and Mrs. Chris Merkley. She evening.
