Mr. and Mrs. Lex Marcusen recently went to Maryland to meet their son, Elder Chad Marcusen, who was released from serving on his mission. She married Emile Morris Whitesides on Aug. 14, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. SHE HAD been a registered nurse at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City and Hill Air Force Base Hospital. She had also been a public health nurse. She had lived in Huntsville for 23 years, Salt Lake City for six years, Cowley, Wyo., for a short time, and in Kaysville for 57 Oceanside, Calif. Funeral services were held Thursday at Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary with Bishop Larry Streadbeck of the Kaysville 1st Ward officiating. years. SHE ATTENDED Weber Academy. Jensen, Joseph OfTret. Services Held For Lillian R. Adams Mrs. Lillian Rose Scoffield Adams, 78, of 1905 Cliffs Place, Layton, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1982 at her home of natural causes. SHE WAS born March 19, Layton, a daughter of 1904 in Richard and Alice Parsons Scoffield. On July 25, 1925 she married Joseph R. Adams in Malad, Ida. He died Jan. 4, 1970. SHE HAD worked at Hill Air Force Base and Clover Club Foods. She was reared and educated in Layton. She had lived in Kaysville for 25 years and returned to live in Layton 20 years ago. She was a member of the 10th LDS Ward. Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Richard Garth Adams, Lompoc, Calif.; Stan J. Adams, Mrs. Thora Louise A. Murland Stevenson, 87, of 2308 W. 1000 N Layton, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1982 in Centerville of natural causes. SHE WAS a member of the Fruit Heights 3rd LDS Ward. She had served as a Primary and Sunday School teacher and ward librarian. From 1967 to 968 she served an LDS mission to the state of Washington. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
