MILLARD Celebrate 50th James R. and Mildred Glover Millard, Farmington, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Sept. 20. THERE WAS a family Millard, who lives with her parents and Mrs. Ray (Pat) Allen, Kaysville. There are 14 grandchildren and one din- ner held at the Hayloft in Ogden that evening. The couple was married Sept. 20, 1932 in Logan and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. THE MILLARDS have lived in Farmington for their entire married life. They have five children, Gordon J., Brigham City; Paul W., Farmington; Joel L., Farmington; Beverly BOTH JIM and Mildred are very active in their church ward. Jim has been employed over the years at Cudahy Packing, Miller Floral, Lange Company Steel Fabrication Plant and at Lagoon and continues to keep busy and active. Mildred has been employed in the Davis County School lunch program and then at Lagoon. Both continue to enjoy an interesting life, kj In a ceremony Wednesday evening at the Syracuse First LDS Ward, Bill Wilcox, 17, received his Eagle Scout award in a special ceremony conducted by Jay Payne, advancement chairman for the Gateway District. The Order of the Arrow was conducted by Earl Duncan. An open house will be held at the Morgan County Courthouse on Oct. 2 from p.m. for Forde Dickson, formerly of Layton, in honor of his 80th birthday anniversary. All his friends and relatives are invited to come and join him. 6 BILL IS a senior at Clearfield High School and a member of the cross country and track team, is editor of the yearbook and a member of the National Honor Society. He is the father of seven children, J. Burton, Ogden; Forde Paul, Lois, Stephen Lewis, all in Morgan; David, Douglas and Jane who reside in California. Just recently he was the honored guest at the Dickson reunion where he presented a took written by himself and entitled The Life and Works of Forde Dickson. Artist LeConte Stewart took a group of girls from the Layton LDS Stake on a tour of the LeConte Stewart Galley of Art in Kaysville last Thursday. He explained each of his paintings to the group. Mrs. Deborah Robinson and children of California have been visiting for three weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Swallow and her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan. The Swallows returned Deborah and her children to California. While in California the Swallows visited their other daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Maddin in Camillo, Calif, before returning home.
