Show f I WEEKLY REFLEX DAVIS NEWS JOURNAL, NORTH DAVIS LEADER, FEBRUARY 18, 1982 Letter To Editor Layton News Citizen Irrate Over Cable TV Company I too am a very irrate citizen about the Wasatch Community Cable TV Co. I HAVE lived at my present location in Layton since 1955. Last fall the TV cable company people came in when I wasnt home and cut a large hole in my hedge, which had been there since 1956. It is true there is a U PL Co. pole on the last side of my property. My hedge grows around it. The electric company and telephone company have serviced the pole for years and never damaged the hedge. But the cable company cut a hole in it instead of parting it and climbing the pole as the other companies do. I CALLED Kim Magness and he said he would come right out to check into it. He By DONETA Mrs. Ruth H. Adams was the hostess to the OFT Club with a luncheon at the Mansion House in Ogden. Those attending were Mrs. John didn't show up. So about a week later I called again and several times after that and he was always out. I finally did get him and he said he would send the foreman out to look at the damage. He did call the foreman and we made two separate dates to meet and he never showed up. I M. The baby was blessed and named last Sunday at the Layton 28th LDS Ward sacrament meeting by her father. Her name is Kristin. Welcoming their new sister are Joshua, Sherrie and Katherine Elisia. Theme of the evening was a trappers rendevous. Each den in the pack put on a trappers skit based on a historic incident. Mrs. Sandi Fox was the guest of honor at the opening reception that marked the beginning of a most interesting quilt show featuring the works of Mrs. Foxs students. The well attended reception was held in the Lavton Heritage V went to Layton city and talked to the building inspector and he tried to contact Mr. Magness and couldn't get him. THE UNIQUENESS of this beautiful old violin, is that at one time it was played in Kay first band and in the string orchestra in the 1850s. In those days, a dance was the chief amusement and they danced to the music of the violin, the bass viola and the organ and later on special occasions to the band.
