Show Poor copys WEEKLY REFLEX DAVIS NEVA'S JOURNAL, NORTH Clearfields Funk Has Goals Set High Frodsham Combines Loyalty To Rank A Frodsham is a long way off of accomplishing everything he hopes to stack up this season but there is an inner excitement about being undefeated thus far. I HAD thoughts about going undefeated but didn't think real serious about it until it began to happen. Going from 138 to 155 in one year was a lot to think about. But in weighing it I thought I was as good as anyone else so 1 went for it, he said. By KEITH DUNCAN KAYSVILLE The only misprint in the Websters Dictionary is when the name Frodsham was left out of the definition for intensity. DAVIS HIGH'S 155 lbs. bundle of explosives, Bruce Frodsham, probably descibes the word intensity better than the word Reagan describes tax cuts. Frodsham, a senior and a team leader among Jim Dicksons 81 '82 grappling group, has glided through the first seven weeks of wrestling without a blemish in the loss column, and he has every intention of keeping it that way. DICKSON CHOSE only one word to color up his undefeated 155 pounder, Intense, that's the only word for it, said the wrestling coach. He is as good a team leader as weve had here. Frank Thompson had some good team leaderswhenhe was head coach, but I think hed have to agree that Bruce ranks with the best of them, said Dickson. FRODSHAMS football coach. Ward Sawley, had some choice comments too, With Bruce it's almost total intensity. His concentration, whether it was football or wrestling, is almost perfect. Once he starts working on the skills, it seems that everything is blocked out and whatever he is doing is all business. Id have to say that Bruce is one of the most intense competitors that I have coached, were the words from the veteran Dart football coach. BRUCE HAS looked forward to the present wrestling season especially after concluding 1981 the way he did. As a junior he battled in the 138 lbs slot and after posting a pretty impressive record in dual competion and the region tournament he went to state and knocked off the No. 2 seed the very first night. That may have been the highlight of last season. Coach didn't tell me the kid 1 was going against was undefe- Ned and seeded second.
