He has re- Ogden LDS Institute. This years institute theme is "Reach." Marx Newlon Erichson, 58, of 1220 East Raymond Rd., Fruit Heights, died Dec. 12 in Randolph, Ut. He was born Sept. 23, 1923 in Colman, S.D., a son of Victor Marx and Cordelia Lydia Newton Ench-soHe married LaVonne Marolyn Billings Oct. 24, 1945 in Rock Rapids, Iowa. He was a veteran of World War II with the rank of CPO in the Navy. SURVIVING are his widow of Fruit Heights; sons, Jeffrey R. Erichson, Indian Harbour Beach. Fla.; Ronald E. Erichson, Tallahassee, Fla.; Mrs. Robert (Cheryl Sue) Boutin, West Melbourne, Fla.; six grandchildren. Also, sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Doris Eileen) Bopp, Burbank, Calif.; and Mrs. Robert (Joyce Joan) Windier, Vancouver, Wash. HE WAS retired from the Navy and had worked in quality control in the aerospace industry. He was reared in South Dakota and lived in Florida for 18 years. He had lived in Fruit Heights for the past year. He graduated from high school in South Dakota and attended electronic schools in the Navy. The Institute has over 19 instructors and 40 course offerings. Edith Falkner Succumbs At 55 Edith Blamires Falkner, 55, died Dec. 12, at the Davis North Medical Center. She was born Dec. 15, 1925, in Kaysville, a daughter of George Lambert and Nettie Alberta Cottrell Blamires. Paul B. and Michael Layton. Mrs. D., all of Robert well, Layton; Mrs. Brad Beck, Salt Lake City. Uni-va- life-lon- SHE WAS a member of the Layton 8th Ward. She held many Church positions including Primary President. She is survived by three sons and four daughters, Kurt, ALSO SURVIVING are four brothers and two sisters, Herman C. Blamires, Kaysville; Vernon C. Blamires, Lehi; Melvin C. Blamires, Farming-ton- ; Mrs. Rex (Alice) Smith, Ogden and Mrs. Verna Vance, Kaysville. There are also 17 grandchildren surviving her. FUNERAL Services were held Dec. 16, in the mortuary chapel with Bishop Deloy E. Bench officiating. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery under the direction of the Lindquist-Kaysvill- e Mortuary. Christmas Party Held the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8307, Layton, Ut. hosted their third annual Christmas party for Wide Horizions Care Center" for the retarded. Approximately 80 guests and attendants were presented with a personalized name tag, handmade by the ladies auxiliary. A TURKEY dinner with all the trimmings was served followed by dancing and caroling to the music of Sonny Johnson and his organ.
