The evening drive through Washington, D.C. to the Banks residence was very impressive. The first inaugural event Dr. and Mrs. Winward attended dinner was a given by the Touche Co., one of the largest accounting firms in the U.S. Mr. Banks is employed by this company. Also attending this dinner was Tony Hope, the son of entertainer Bob Hope. On inaugration day, Dr. and Mrs. Winward attended the swearing in ceremonies and the parade.
