She visited a daughter and family. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Larson at Newark, Ohio and a son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Baumgart at Winter Haven, Fla. During her stay she also visited with relatives and friends in Wisconsin. Mrs. Anita Major is at home convalescing after being confined to the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful where she underwent major surgery. Mrs. Florence Bishop spent three days in Brigham City visiting with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bishop. Robert is a state legislator. Visitors of Maj. (Ret) and Mrs. William Morrison were their son, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Morrison and children Teresa and Kelly of Chico. Calif., and also other grandchildren, Lisa and Wade Morrison of North Ogden. Mrs. Hazel Warden re- turned home from the Davis North Medical Center Wednesday where she was confined undergoing treatment. She is the mother of Dr. David Warden and Mrs. Marion Louesch. Dr. David Warden and his daughter Marion drove to San Diego, Calif, to attend his nephew David Blake who was made commander of his squadron on the Kitty Hawk ship. Comm. Blake is the first one to make commander of his graduating class from the Anapo-h- s Naval Academy in Maryland. Lloyd A. Bishop has returned home after Hying to New York where he visited his son, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kay Bishop and family for ten days. Mrs. Sarah Giles spent the weekend in Taylorsille with her son, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Giles and family. Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Benton have returned home from Idaho Falls, Ida., where they visited for ten days with their two sons, Mr. and Mrs. David E. Benton and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Benton and their families. They enjoyed visiting their five married grandchildren and their families also. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Francom recently visited in Phoenix, Ariz. with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Francom and was there to see their new granddaughter Hillary, who was born Dec. 10. Jim Giles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Giles of San Diego, Calif, was home on leave from the U.S. Navy for Christmas. He returned to Monterey, Calif, for further training. Miss Marsha Lynn Hoski, the foster Lamanite daughter of Max and Pat Hirschi has received her mission call to the Texas-Dalla- s Mission. Miss Hoski will enter the Mission Training Center on Feb. 19. She is a member of the Kaysville First Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Johnson attended the inauguration for Gov. Scott Matheson in Salt Lake City. Gov. Matheson is a nephew of Mrs. Johnson. The family members were guests at the Alta Club for lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Heath of Bountiful visited last week with his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Heath. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gailey were among the group that attended the Rose Parade in California on a bus tour with Faldmo Tours. Mark Meacham of Sinclair. Wyo. spent the weekend with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meacham and also visited with his friend Wayne Anderson in Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Nylan Allphin attended the funeral services of Howard Blood held in Salt Lake City on Wednesday. DOO visited in Bountiful while here at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Clive W'ade and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wade. Bill W'ade served a mission in Tainan. He also visited the home of Tom Oldham of Orem. Another returned missionary w ho enjoyed the company of Mr. Doo w as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hask-weof Ogden.
