They are: Lisa Marie Tow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Tow of 128 Barrington Way in Layton and Chad Allen Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Harris, of Clearfield and now living in Ogden. Both celebrated their one-yea- r birthdays Dec. 27. Celebrating Monday Kychelle Probert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David D. Probert of 1075 N. 1390 W. in Layton. Kaysville Fires Kaysville city firemen battled two big fires in the Kaysville area during the past week. North 100 Ms. Higgs was in the kitchen West, causing an $18,000 damage. The blaze was reported to have started firemen o mixing bread when her fire alarm went off and as she turned, the entire northeast corner of her home was on fire, involving all the upstairs. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Garrett drove to California to visit with their three sons and their families during the holidays. Their children are Dr. and Mrs. Glen Garret and Dr. and Mrs. David Garret, all of Lacanada, Calif, and Dr. and Mrs. Steven Garret, Redlands, Calif. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ashel Evans were their two brothers and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Krebs of San Diego. Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Krebs and family, Tempe, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Zollinger and daughter Natalie of Santa Clara, Calif, were holiday guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton D. Zollinger. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hess and children from Centerville. Returning from a seven day bus tour that included the Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calif, were Don and Betty Jean Hill, Kaysville, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Tolman and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Landis, all of Clearfield. In addition to the parade they visited other places of interest before returning home Jan. 5. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Walters and three children of Billings. Mont, were holiday visitors of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Green. Mrs. Essie Thornley returned home from Round Rock, Texas where she spent the holidays with her son, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thornley and family. Richard Ellison of New York City, N.Y. was in Utah to spend the holidays with his father Evan Elision and his sister and brother-in-law- , Mr. and Mrs. Allen L. Strong. He had just returned to New York when he was notified of his father's death on Jan. 4. He returned to Utah for the funeral. Prig-mor- ser-vic- DNMC in Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Iverson spent four days in Idaho where they stayed at their cabin. They also enjoyed a snowmobiling tour through Yellowstone National Park and a stay at the Old Faithful Lodge. Rustin Taylor, two-yeold son of Mr. and Mrs. DeRay Taylor, underwent surgery last week at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden. Mrs. Kathleen Lund is at home after surgery last week at the Lake-vie- Hospital. Bishop and Mrs. Gary Porter entertained at a dinner party on Jan. 2 for members of the Kaysville 13th Ward bishopric and their partners. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Dave Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Erickson. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kettenring, Mr. and Mrs. Max Ward and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Slade. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker was accompanied on a bus tour to the Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calif, by her brother and sister-in-laMr. and Mrs. Russell Nicholls of Salt Lake City. They were met at Disneyland by Mr. and Mrs. Parker's daughter Mrs. Roy Baldwin and family of Santa Cruise, Calif. They also spent some time in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Austin and their children: Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hovey and family of Kaysville, and Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Howard and children of Layton, attended the funeral service of Mr. Austin's father, H.G. Austin, who died Dec. 30 in Lehi. Mr. Austin was 82 years old. He was buried in Orem. Dean Austin of Seattle, Wash., a son and a nephew, Austin Holmes of Jackson, Wyo., also came for the funeral. Bishop and Mrs. Gary Porter and family spent the holidays in St. George with her mother, Mrs. Lola McArthur. Mrs. Doris Ball visited Monday in Layton with her twin sister, Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell, who is convalescing after being confined to the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. David Sanders and family and many relatives-attendethe blessing and naming of the infant daughter of Jeri Christensen and Kevin Christensen who was blessed and named Amber Lee on Jan. 4 in the Kaysville 8th Ward Fast Day meeting. Amber Lee was born on Nov. 19 at the Lakeview Hospital. She was blessed and named by her great uncle, Terry Bolyard of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. David Sanders of Kaysville are the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Van Sander, Kaysville, are the Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Johnson and children attended a holiday family party in Springville with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Fullmer with 20 family members attending. Mr. and Mrs. Garth King entertained at a dinner for their family. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Scott King and children of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Mark Buchanan and family of South Weber; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Miller and children, Syracuse; Mr. and Mrs. Jim King and son David, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Lance Robinson and Brooke of Bountiful, and two grandmothers, Mrs. Ann W'ood and Mrs. Phyllis King both of Clearfield. Mr. and Mrs. Chester King were guests in Provo for the holiday of their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen King. William R. Baker under- - went surgery on Jan. 7 in an Ogden hospital. Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Morgan and family spent two days at Christmas time in Nephi with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. Don Hales have returned to their home in Mar Vista, Calif, after spend- ing the holidays with his mother, Mrs. Doraine Hales of Kaysville, and other relatives and friends in the area. Holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Smith were their grandchildren iss Barbara Smith of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith and family of Layton. Claudeann Loveless underwent surgery at the University of Utah Medical Center last week. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Butler and family have returned to their home in Bozeman. Mont, after spending the holidays with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Butler, and in Layton with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Morgan. On Christmas Day Mr. and Mrs. David Butler entertained at dinner for family members. and Alan Smith who are attending BYU in Provo.
