Jenny has a whole wall full of ribbons and banners she has won in both team and individual riding contests. JENNY was to ride a small horse, she had to devise her own method of mounting, which she has used since she was four years old. Even now, she is small for her age and her horse, a buckskin colored quarter-horsstands 15.2 hands. So, to get into riding position without using a ladder, she puts her right foot in the keep strap between the front and rear cinches. With this foot in place!, she holds onto the front saddle strap and pulls herself up until she can get her left foot into the stirrup. Then, holding onto the saddle horn, she gracefully swinp' saddle.
