Talbot, 54, of 24 Ronald Street, Layton, died Sunday, May 4, 1980 at the Davis North Medical Center in Layton of cancer. Barlow, Jr.; prelude and postlude music by Kristie McCloud; invocation was given by Dee Sanders; life sketch given by Carol Duckworth; speaker was Bishop Taylor; musical selection by Harris Adams, a medley of Henrys favorite songs, accompanied by Judith HENRY McGUNCH Henry Marshall McGlinch, 64, of 254 South 400 East, Kaysville, died at his home Tuesday, May 6, 1980 of a heart ailment. HE WAS born Sept. 23, 1915 in Cotlerville Spur, Mont., a son of Jay James and Elva Leone Marshall McGlinch. On Sept. 23, 1940, he married Alice Bark in Butte, Mont. She died Sept. 2, 1945. On June 19, 1947 he married Ella Dee Adams in Layton. HE WAS a fetired assistant postmaster at the Kaysville Post Office. He had lived in Sheridan, Mont. 23 years, Layton two years and Kaysville 39 years. He was a member of Kaysville Second Ward, served in two Bishoprics and Elders Quorum, was a member of the Kaysville Junior Chamber of Commerce and Kaysville Fire Department. Surviving are his widow of Kaysville; two daughters, Wilson. A TRIBUTE to our father wards. Ushers were Larry Barnett, LaVar Godfrey, Howard Cloward, Myron Linford and Golden Taylor. Lind- - . Eldon LaVerne Gaither, 62, .Layton, died Thursday, May 8, 1980 at his home of cancer. "'HE iri WAS bom March 5, 1918 Mason City, Neb., a son of Mason Bernard and Cora Adella Terpenning Gaithers. On Oct. 16, 1947, he married Emma Jane Harding in Provo. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 12, 1964. He worked as a carpenter and a builder and had been supervisor of the wood hobby shop at Hill Air Force Base for 23 years. MR. GAITHER lived in Mason City, Neb., Kaycee, Wyo., and Provo before moving to Layton. He graduated from high school in Alma, Neb., and attended Utah Technical College in Provo where he studied carpentry. .He was a member of the Layton 11th Ward, served as adult Aaronic program advisor, first counselor and president of his Elders Quorum, Young Mens MIA secretary and a member of the ward temple committee. HE SERVED in the air force during world war II and the Korean War. Surviving are his wife of Layton; one son and one daughter, Dennis H. Gaither, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Ralph (Jaynie) Holley, Layton; four grandchildren. ALSO SURVIVING are two brothers and three sisters, Cecil Gaither, Arcadia, Calif.; Charles Gaither, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Fren (Una) Skiles, Laramie, Wyo.; Mrs. Earl (Amarylis) Gran, Brigham Cit-and Phyllis Alvarie, Provo. (Virginia) Wilkins, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Diane Kimose, Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 6, 1980 at noon in Lindquists and Sons Colonial Chapel in Ogden for Walter Loran Reese, 73, of 481 North 200 East, Kaysville, who died Friday, May 2, 1980 at the Davis Medical Center. HE WAS bom Oct. 13, 1906 in Moore, Ida., a son of William Wiley and Adelaide Alice Mathews Reese. He was married to Stella Christensen, Aug. 15, 1946 in Clarkston, Utah. The marriage was lafer solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died in 1956. He married Bertha Robinson Call, Jan. 8, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. MR. REESE was a member of the Kaysville Third Ward Kaysville. Funeral services were conducted by Bishop E. Barker of the Kaysville Third Ward. FAMILY PRAYER was offered by Ralph M. Wilkins; prelude and postlude music by Beth Taylor; musical number, e Abide With Me, a trio, Bowman, Joyce Jarman and Barbara Bybee, accompanied by Maxine Humphreys; invocation by Conley Christensen; remarks by Bishop Barker. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Collier. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cottrell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Crawley and family, Mrs. Leone Cottrell were all guests in Tremonton on Mothers Day of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kidman and children. The Fruit Heights Fifth Ward held a get acquainted party at the ward cultural hall k with games for all ages, pot-luc- dinner and program. Bishop Stephen Morgan was in charge. HE WAS bom Sept. 13, 1931 in Red Oaks, Va., a son of Martin C. and Annie Watkins Mr. and Mrs. Alma Webster of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Barker of Layton, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Sorenson and George F. Barker of Kaysville held a welfare dinner and party on Friday evening at their ward cultural hall. Bishop Paul Barker was in charge. Craig Taylor, w ho is attending Utah State University will graduate on May 30 with two majors, one in education and the other in political science. He has been accepted at BYU, where he will continue his studies in the MBA program beginning in August. He is the son of Bishop and Mrs. Lowell Taylor of Kaysville. Elder Paul Kapp, son of Mr. and Mrs. George J. Kapp of 156 East 600 North, Kaysville has been called to serve a mission to the Califomia-Ventur- a mission. He will enter the Mission Training Center on July 3. He is a member of the Kaysville Third Ward. Gaither At Age 62 of 955 LaVerde Avenue, HE WAS bom Feb. 24, 1926 in Richmond, Utah, a son of Reuben P. and Elona Lawrence Talbot. On Aug. 16, 1948 he married Lillian A. Jonas in Ogden. Mr. Talbot retired from Hill AFB in 1976 where he worked as an aircraft mechanic. HE WAS reared in Richmond and was a graduate of North Cache High School and attended Weber State College for two years. He lived in Layton since 1959. He served in the navy for two years during world war II, seeing action in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Layton Fourth Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Perce Burnett of Kemmerer, Wyo. were recent visitors of his sister, Mrs. Goldie Ball. SURVIVING are his widow of Layton; one son and three daughters, Lamy R.
