They spent seven days on the Mississippi Queen paddle wheeler and visited St. Francisville, Baton Rouge and Vexburg. They spent three days in New Orleans, La. before returning home. Mrs. Edna J. Layton received word from Merced, Calif, of the arrival of a new born May 7 to Mr. and Mrs. Randy Wiens. Mrs. Wiens is the former Sheryl Brink, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brink. - H. Glenn Austin underwent major eye surgery on Wednes- day April 7 at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden. He is at home now convalescing.
