Dawson E. businesses in the city of Lay-tothroughout his life. Mr. Dawson has always been active in civic and church affairs. He was elected to serve as Layton city councilman from 1950 to 1954 and then served a four year term as mayor of Layton. He was active with the Davis son of Cleveland and Mary Misenhelter Gould. On Oct. 31, 1948 he was married to Kathleen Wommack in Joplm, Mo. He was a retired Air Force major and traveled n County Mounted Sheriffs Pusse and the Sons of Utah Pioneers. HIS CHURCH positions included five years in the Fourth Ward Layton Bishopric and service on the Layton Stake High Council. From 1966-6he and his wife served a two year mission in Nuuvoo, 111. He has one brother still living, William A. Dawson of Salt Lake City. ELIAS DAWSON and Isadora Beck Barlow of Clearfield. He was married to Elizabeth Call of Layton. He was employed by Standard Oil Company of California since 1947 and was vice president and general manager of Ortho Agricul- Chevron tural Chemicals, Chemical Co. He was chairman of National Agricultural Chemicals Association. A national organization representing over 100 companies throughout the world. He is also a national director of and numerous other or- ganizations. Surviving are his wife of Redwood City, Calif.; seven sons and daughters, David Jr., Rebecca Salt, Deborah, graduated from Joplin High School. DAWSON lived in Og-- : den and Layton all of his life. ; For 11 years, he and his : brothers owned and operated the O.P. Skaggs grocery in Ogden and Salt Lake City. He was later employed .at the Ogden Arsenal and the Naval Supply Depot until his Retirement in 1964. He has been a partner in various E. Dawson, Niel N. Dawson and David Lewis. , DAVID B. THE VIEWING was held at Crusby-Gray at Burlingame, Calif, on Jan. 7 and funeral services were held at the San Carlos LDS Ward Chapel, Redwood City, Calif, on Jan. 8. Memorial services will be held on Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. at Lindquists Chapel in Clearfield. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the memorial services. Burial will be in the Syracuse Cemetery.
