Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Christensen and family spent a week in Salmon, Ida. visiting with her mother, Mrs. Ann Longhurst and other relatives and friends. While there they had the opportunity of attending a concert in which their nephew Michael McFrederick, a prominent pianist and 14 com- poser from New York played. Michael has studied at Julliard Music School. He is head of the New City Ensem- ble which he brought to Salmon, Ida. to present the concert. His mother Mrs. Dorothy McFrederick resides in Salmon. She is a sister of Mr. Christensen. Michael has played at Carnegie Hall and recently won a paid trip to Europe to perform there. He is a noted musician throughout the Eastern states. Russell Williams is in Colorado on a business trip. His wife Dorothy flew there to join him and will visit with former friends at Colorado Springs. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bowman will meet them in Durrango and they will spend five days together before returning to their homes in Kaysville. Mrs. Johanna Hansen of Halden, Norway arrived June to spend three weeks with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine A. Glanville. While in Utah she visited with friends in Salt Lake City and spent time with Mr. Glanvilles parents, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine L. Glanville. The children of Elwood and Joyce Clark hosted a party in honor of their parents 25th wedding anniversary. Guests attending were Kim and Anne Hadfield and children, Clark, Robbie and Melissa, Michael and Leslie Warren, Mary Ellen Clark. Mrs. Don McGaffin and children Doug and Sherri have returned from a five week vacation to Pa. where Philadelphia, they flew to visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Bremser and other relatives. After returning home, Doug then flew to San Francisco, Calif, to visit with his other grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Martinelli and other relative for a few weeks.
