Wilcox, Dee B. Wilcox, Floyd S. Wilcox Norman D. Wilcox and (Rosanne) Birch, all of Syracuse; 17 grandchilren; six brothers and two sisters, Hugh B. Wilcox, Boise, Ida.; Harold. Wilcox, Elmer W. Wilcox, Lynn j.: Wilcox and Darvil 0. Wilcox, all of Syracuse; Myrtm L. Wilcox, Clearfield; Mrs. Mary W. Miller, Ogden and Mrs. Louise W. Johnson, Orem. SERVICES were held on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at the Syracuse Utah Stake Center with Bishop Grant M. Steed officiating. The family prayer was given by Norman D. Wilcox; the prelude and postlude music played by Vicki Carl-SoFUNERAL duet, In The Garden, was sung by Mrs. Joyce . A vocal Veral J. Smith, 59, of 493 HE WAS married to Marie Pedersen in Newton, Utah on Feb. 19, 1951. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Smith was an aircraft mechanic at Hill AFB. He had lived in Smithfield, Uvada, Juab and Trenton, Utah and in Peoche, Nev. before moving to Layton 17 years ago. He ''was a mefnber of the Layton First LDS Ward and was an elder and served as a home teacher. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the U.S. Army. ARE his widow of Layton; one son and SURVIVING three daughters, Jay Veral Smith, Layton; Mrs. Patrick (Wanda) Kekoa, Honolulu, Hawaii; Mrs. Jim (Linda) Linch, Ogden; Miss Elaine one Smith, Layton; grandchild; one brother, Hyrum Allen Smith Jr., Car- son, Calif. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 21 in the First Ward Chapel with Bishop Renny Knowlton officiating.
