UP FOR RIATA DAYS Families who are interested in having fun without travel and excessive expense should plan to spend the 4th of July in Layton enjoying the Riata Days activities. The Riata Days committee, anticipating a 4th of July crowd of nearly have 20,000 planned something for everyone. BEGINNING with the Miss Layton - Prince and Princess contest to be held June 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Layton High School and continuing until 9:30 p.m. on July 4 with the fireworks display, there is at least one program that should appeal to everyone on the 4th of July. The Jaycees will serve a chuckwagon breakfast at the Layton Commons Bowery from 6 to 10 a.m. Charge for two hotcakes, 3 sausages, one egg, orange juice, milk or coffee will be $2 for adults and $1 for children under 12. FOOD AND game concessions will open at 11 a.m. and continue throughout the day. These booths will be set up on until 8 in the Layton High School auditorium foyer.
