MORRIS HANSEN, of 2368 South 2000 West in Syracuse has been named as recipient of the annual Friend of Education award presented by the 14,000 member Utah Education Association. Commission has decided. IT RECEIVED a request to approve an $8,000 position to be operated through SOCIO, the county Spanish-speakin- g improvement group. The money would have come from $18,000 in federal money retained by, but not yet spent, in the county.
