Councilman Bruce Watkins, councilman over city planning had several items of business to bring before the council con an attorney representing Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hurst, Mr. and Mrs. John Henry, Mr. and Mrs. David Sites, and Jay Roundy, was present along with the parties which he where he represented presented the reasons that they wanted to restrain the continued building of the cerning granting variances for a subdivision and other multi-dwelling- s. Edith C. Allen underwent surgery last week at the Doxey Hatch Medical Center in Salt Lake City. She was confined for ten days. She is the mother of Earl Allen of Kaysville. Aubana, Illinois of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Brown. Also MR. Their little new son born in June was blessed and named Jay Reuben. They have one other son at home, Jeromis. Kelly was a former Kaysville resident. Several Kaysville residents have moved into the new spent three days last week at Mirror Lake in the Uintas and in the Heber Valley. SENIOR Airman Carl E. Houk will be honored as one of the Air Forces top 12 airmen for 1977. He, also, will represent the Tactical Air Command at the conclave. Houk is a weapons release technician with the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing at Hill. WILLIAM E. Kyle of Ogden and past president of the Ogden Chapter of the AFA will receive a Medal of Merit. Kyle will be cited for promoting the AFA within his chapter and throughout Utah. Farmington resident James Taylor, a past Utah AFA, will receive a Medal of Merit. He will be cited for directing the Utah AFA during 1976-77- . SELECTED as the Chapter of the Year in the small chapter category is the Rocky Mountain Chapter, composed ROY resident Nathan Mazer will receive a Special director.
