They went by plane to Mexico City and enjoyed that citv and on to visit the pyramids of San Juan and also Cholula. They spent time visiting the impressive Anthropology Museum, attended the NaTeo-tihuc- tional Ballet folklore, and also spent time at Acapulco. Ann Umpleby is seriously ill at the McKay hospital the past week in the intensive care unit. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Miss Wm. H. Umpleby. Miss Lise Floto won the second place trophy in the hair styling contest at WSC. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Errett J. Floto and is in Beauty School at the college. David Cypers of San Francisco, Calif, has been visiting with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Lake the past week. Miss Kae Cullimore is accompanying a Weber College Group on a two week vacation Bicentennial tour of the eastern states. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Cullimore. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoi Day attended the wedding of their granddaughter Miss Michelle Davis of Soda Springs, Ida. who was married Saturday June 12 in the Logan LDS Temple. Their wedding breakfast was held at the Juniper Inn in Logan and the reception was held that evening in Idaho. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis of Soda Springs. Her uncle Bishop De Von Day of Merced, Calif, came by plane for the wed- ding and accompanied his parents Mr. and Mrs. LeRoi Day to the wedding ceremony, breakfast and reception. Mrs. Roueches mother was in Kaysville staying during the recent Idaho flood and her home was the only home in her neighborhood area that missed being flooded Riverside was the last town to be flooded from the flood waters somerampaging 70 miles away. Mayor and Mrs. Glen W. Cundall spent a few days last week at Phoenix, Ariz. and also attended the Christopher Layton family reunion at Mesa, Ariz. while there. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Taylor visited relatives in Rexburg, Ida. recently. They left just one hour before the flood to drive to Darby, Montana to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Larkins and family.
