Shortening 2 Egg 1 4' to 5 C. flour tsp. salt Soften yeast in lukewarm water. Scald milk, add salt, honey and shortening. Cool to lukewarm. Add 2 C flour and beat well. Add yeast and beaten eggs. Blend thoroughly. Add enough of remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured board or heavy cloth and knead until satiny. Place in lightly oiled bowL Cover and place immediately in the refrigerator. When light, punch down, cover and leave m refrigerator. When wanted, remove from refrigerator, punch down, let atand for 30 minutes at room temperature. Mold as desired into rolls, loaves, tea ring, etc. Let rise until double m bulk.
