The bride is a 2002 graduate of Springville High School ana has her degree from Snow College, with plans to pursue a bachelors degree in social work at Utah State University. The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of MAPLETON-- - Lindsay Fuhriman - SALT LAKE CITY- Dqvid H. and Karen Fuhriman, Salt Lake City, announce the marriage of their daughter, Lindsay Fuhriman, to Dr. Stephen F. Johansen, son of Ter-r- y and Arlene Johansen, Midvale, Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening at the Willow Creek Country Club. A wedding dinner will be held in their honor Thursday, Sept. 9, at the Joseph Smith Building. The bride is a graduate of Olympus High School and the University of Utah. She is employed with a financial company in Salt Lake City. Grandparents of the bride are Edwin Fuh- riman; and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ericksen, all of Salt Lake City. Mr. Ericksen is a former resident of Mt. Pleasant. The groom graduated from Hillcrest High School, Salt Lake Community College, Brigham Young University and Creighton University with a doctorate of dental surgery. He is an Eagle Scout and served in ' ' North Sanpete High School and presently attends Snow College, with plans to Paul Giblette, Natalie Palmer pursue a degree in mechanical engineerEphraim, where they will attend Snow ing from Utah State University. Jonathan Osmond, Laura Veach KS- LAWRENCE, - Elsie Larsen Christensen celebrated her 103rd birthday on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at the in Winston Center Lawrence, KS. The birthday party was hosted by her daughter and Elsie was born in Fairview, Aug. 23, 1901. She and her husband, the late R. H. (Steve) Christensen, lived in Fairview all their lives. She moved to the Winston, an assisted living center in Lawrence, in 2000 to be near a her daughter, grandson and two greatgrandchildren. Residents at the Winston joined with family members to honor Mrs. Christensens long and productive life. The middle cnild of a family of six girls and six boys, Elsie excelled in school, attended Snow Academy in Ephraim, and, as a young woman taught grade school in Fairview. Jon is enrolled at BYU in the accounting program. The couple will make their first home in Provo.
