She was born the daughter of Elizabeth Graham and William Millar with sister, Betty, and brother, Alex. She attended Wasatch Academy and played the accordion in a local band. These were cherished days in her memory. She married Rex L. Sorensen, Oct. 22, 1955. Together they had four children. Robert and Rex, Jessie "Lisa," Julie Elizabeth Katherine and James Olof. She had five grandchildren, Juan Rex "Johnny", Jessie Elizabeth, Jamie Jeanette, Mary and David John; and one great grandson, Donnivan James. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alex; and son, Robert. We, the family of this precious lady are the luckiest 11 people in the world. We have been shown a love A bond so so understanding. unbreaking, a kindness so giving, a friendship so lasting, a heart so overflowing, words cannot explain the kind of woman she was or the depth of the loss for Gods most precious gift, our mother, grand Jessie had a heart so large it could have held the whole world. She used it to brighten the lives of everyone she came into contact with. Her heart had room for all. No one left her home without something to fill their heart and usually their stomachs too. She had a special way about her that always left you feeling cherished. Although her body slowed her down, her heart and home were full to bursting with a love that knows no bounds. Sometimes we are fortunate enough to meet someone who leaves us with a special mark that though they are gone can never be removed. It is embedded in our very souls and we are never the same again. Granny was such a person. She and her loving husband, our father Rex, are the reason we have had and always will have such a close and special family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints holding many positions in the Spring City LDS Ward and Mt. Pleasant LDS Stake. She and her husband served 21 years as ordinance workers in the Manti and Provo LDS Temples.
